Let me introduce you to SooGin Ma, one of our Themba sponsors. SooGin is a very special woman who grew up in war-torn Korea, was without parents to care for her and was sold as a slave when she was 16 years old.
But God had his hand on SooGin and brought her to America, where he called her and blessed her with his presence, even until today. Her compassion for children without parents and resources was born from her childhood experiences and from God’s gracious gifts to her.
She has agreed to share her story with us, and to tell us why she has chosen to sponsor one of our children, Thabisani. She knows what it is to be abandoned and for God to step in and give her new life, just as he does for our Themba children. I have attached her story to this email. So please click here to read how God worked in SooGin’s life and why she chose to support Hope 4 the Orphan.
