The party was held at the usual venue, Brethren In Christ church. On the day of the party it was raining heavily, especially in the morning, as a result the children and their caregivers came later than the planned time. We however had a very good attendance, especially the children. The program went on very well. We had dramas, songs, poems and memory verses by the children. We also had a dance competition between the children and their caregivers. To top it all off the lunch was great. The catering team did an excellent job considering it was raining heavily and they were using fire under a small shed.
The Christmas party is also a time to meet and spend time together. Some of the caregivers and children will be seeing each other for the first time but I’ve always marveled at the way everybody just blends in. No ones feels left out. The smiles and laughter were a big part of the program.
We would like to thank everyone who gave towards the party. May God richly bless you all. Your labour of love is not in vain!
May the joy of the Lord be your strength, Soneni
